Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Substation Secondary design with CAE tools (preferably in Engineering Base, ELCAD, Autocad, E3, Eplan etc.)
- Hardware engineering control cabinets for high-voltage switchgear & power systems
- Experience in Measuring and Instrumentation for high voltage transmission systems and knowledge of Power Quality & Fault Recording Systems
- Preparation of hardware designs and manufacturing documents with integration of subsystems and interfaces for control cabinets of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission systems
- Preparation of related technical documents, cost calculations and circuit documents as well as manuals within the scope of quotation processing and project execution
- Database for hardware configuration and signal management
- Involve in panel manufacturing process and acceptance/functional tests
- Clarification / Revision of technical requirements within project teams, internal departments, with customers and suppliers, sub-suppliers work package preparation and coordination
- Project specific technical specifications, documents & manuals.
- Remote technical support during commissioning
Education & Experience:
- Degree / Diploma in electrical engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication
- 7 to 12 years work experience in the area of hardware engineering for control and protection cubicles
- Experience in project engineering for complex projects
- Knowledge of SCADA systems (Substations, etc.)
