Job Description:
- 3D-layouting
- Develop cost reduction initiatives while creating equipment concepts
- Equipment concept design and layouting
- Writing specifications
- Ordering of the equipment/facility items after Technical evaluation followed by approval and Buy-off’
- Concept validation, technical offer evaluation
- Installation of Equipment as per Project Timelines and ensuring the conformance to Planned Manufacturing Concepts and Layout
- Develop and plan accurate concise scope of work for new and corrective work orders based upon internal and external expertise
- Work with suppliers, internal departments and project management team to provide clear project plan and space information
- Publish to internal as well as external customers the layout and relevant specifications for the work to be performed and systems to be integrated.
- Develop positive and cooperative working models between facility and other departments.
- Under the guidance of project group leader assist in design and construction to ensure timely completion, quality of work and budgetary compliance.
- Drafting reports and buckets
- Specialist in facility management.
- Sound knowledge about vehicle building process and integration.
- Equipment Standardization
- Digitalization of equipment standards in 3D, based on Module strategy
Degree and qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/production engineering
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering domain from Automotive Car industry with very good understanding of Digital Manufacturing tools
- Language skills: Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written. Proficiency in German is added advantage.
Domain Skills:
- Technical background in Equipment Planning, Assembly Planning, Plant Facility Planning.
- Good hands on Experience & Exposure to Equipment and plant facility Planning processes and Problem resolution.
- Software and System know how (e.g. Micro station, Navisworks, DELMIA V5/Process Simulate,/ Vismockup / Team center visualization/Human Jack etc.)
- Research oriented approach and idea generation skills to encounter problems
- Excellent interpersonal and organization skills with ability to manage multiple business partners simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written including negotiation skill.
IT skills:
Knowledge of MS-Office
Language skills:
- Excellent reading, writing and communication skill in English
- German Language (A2/B1) Preferred.
Personal skills:
High analytical / conceptual competence, pronounced goal and result orientation, pronounced customer orientation, Teamwork, strong communication skills.
