Job Description:

  • Support the sales team at the back end as virtual salesman
  • Maximize the value extraction from the existing channel partners. (Cement dealers, field sales and retailers)
  • Monitor the performance of channel and sales team and send alerts / intervene to improve it
  • One point query resolution
  • Quick Customer Service for all stakeholders Channel Partners, Influencers, Sales Team, Technical Team, IHBs/B2B

Roles and Responsibilities of the Sales agents

  • Provide direct engagement with 100% of the existing cement dealers.
  • Identify opportunities to extract maximum sale from each dealer based on trend analysis.
  • Generate orders daily by calling channel partners who are most likely to place orders and not visited by the field sales officer based on data inputs and / or prescribed rules.
  • Receive the orders from the channel partners and place them in the companys systems for which access is allowed. In case of orders from ARS / Retailers, the order needs to be placed upon the dealers and then in the company system on behalf of the dealers upon his approval.
  • Record the complaints / grievances and give resolutions at L1 level and / or assign the same to the relevant personnel as per pre-defined matrix. Manage the complaints / requests systematically through a ticketing system.
  • Accept requests from dealers to update information related to customer master or any other as mandated by the company from time to time through own or companys existing systems (e.g. Service Now) for which access is given.
  • Reduce the zero sale dealers by following up with such counters.
  • Engage with the zero visit counters and make them more productive.
    Proactively communicate the schemes and other related information to the secondary network
    Increase the scheme participation and overall effectives by the dealers or ARS / retailers as applicable by following up on orders
    Collect data from the channel partners like daily secondary sales bifurcation
    Follow up on the tasks to be done by the dealers, e.g. Balance confirmation, loyalty points redemption, etc.
    Log complaints in Aasan on behalf of the channel partner.
  • Register queries / requests from the channel partners for updating of any records, e.g. Change in contact details, firm details, etc.
  • Follow up on the tasks to be done by the sales officer, e.g. Closure on new dealership queries, updating of micro market data, etc. uploading of dealer monthly / scheme targets, etc.

Experience and other skills:

  • Language – Local Gujarati / Hindi speakers (Must have) and should be able to read /understand English
  • Standard education – UG/Graduate mix
  • Experience – 2 year minimum in any (telecom, fmcg) retail channel sales experience. It can be telesales or field sales but under the domain of retail consumer channel
