Job Description:
- Perform and supervise Magnetic Particle tests. Should hand on experience in Head shot method, fluorescent MPI, detection both longitudinal & Transverse defects. Personnel should have NDT Level -2 in ASNT/ ISNT certification. Minimum experience should be 5 years in MPI method.
- Interpret and evaluate results according to applicable standards, codes, specifications or procedures
- Prepare written Magnetic Particle Testing instructions. Carry out and supervise all tasks at or below Level 2
- Knowledge about safety requirements in MPI process.
- Capable of training the people for MPI Machine operating (Level -1)
- Sound knowledge of ASME section V for MPI process and Section VIII for acceptance criteria.
- Ensuring the conforming parts should be delivered to customer and capable to coordinate with customer about any questionary.
- Understanding about current and voltage which is required for the process run. Knowledge about calculation of electrical system requirements.
- Minimum Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engg
