Job Description:
- To execute section of Transmission Line with required productivity as per timelines, cost & quality parameters.
- Conduct and review survey work and cross verify the field data for tower placing, providing extension, major crossing points (NH, Railway), and avoiding immovable asset in the ROW corridor
- Mobilize manpower for Foundation, Erection, and Stringing activities
- Review compensation, landowner documents, ensuring ownership through administrative officers like Patwari, Tehsildar and SDM
- Provide Daily & Monthly MIS as per management requirement
- Ensure Quality as per approved FQP and relevant IS Codes/CBIP manual etc.
- Ensure implementation of Safety OHS plan.
- Identify the bottlenecks and their resolutions to avoid last-minute surprises.
- Plan timely shutdowns and follow ups for the section.
- Conduct safety and quality programs at site level for development of their team at regular interval.
- Knowledge of Execution Transmission Line projects.
- Knowledge of Prudent Industrial practices.
- Knowledge of Regulations & IS codes (5613/CBIP Manual). interval
2. Bidding – Survey Manager:
- Transmission line survey work up to 765 kV in any type of field condition (congested, Plain, forest and hilly terrain).
- Site Survey planning for deriving least cost route after proper site survey analysis of risk involved.
- Coordination with internal stakeholders such as Projects, Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Techno commercial etc.
- Understands the organizational direction in terms of key businesses, thrust areas, etc.
- and maintain commercial focus (e.g., reduces costs, maximizes returns, etc.)
- Preliminary Survey reports for Pre & Post Bidding.
- Select optimized route with data analysis and technology intervention such as survey using drone technologies or satellite images
- Prepare of ground profile section with use of AUTOCAD and PLS CADD
- Optimum spotting of transmission tower structures in transmission line safer and economical way with use of PLS CADD software
- Interact with Consultants / Clients, Co-ordination between Site Office, Project Office & etc.
