Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and fluent interpretation of spoken and signed language in various settings, including meetings, presentations, training sessions, and one-on-one conversations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Collaborate effectively with Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in sign language interpretation.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID, NAD, or state-specific certification).
• Strong command of American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience interpreting in a variety of settings, including business, education, and healthcare.
• Proficiency in using assistive technology, such as video relay services (VRS) and real-time captioning (CART).
