Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients and donors using various collection devices such as needles, syringes, and vacutainers.
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures with precision and accuracy.
Label collections correctly according to established protocols and maintain accurate records of patient information. - Ensure proper handling and transportation of collected blood products to prevent contamination or spoilage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to infection control guidelines.
