Job Description:
- This position has responsibility to engage with business stakeholders and senior executives, to identify and share business opportunities, challenge existing vendor relationships and secure agreement on initiatives and ability to provide clear status overviews and report on initiative impact and results.
- Within this position cost savings and control is important, however project management, communication skills and ability to influence business stakeholders are equally important.
- The Procurement lead/Assistant Manager will serve as single point of contact to the client for day-to-day operations and manage the execution of the agreed plan to successful completion.
- This position will require frequent engagement and dialog with all members of the procurement team, to ensure strategies are understood and specific needs are shared with the client to optimize the reach.
- This position is responsible for aligning the client procurement strategies with the right team member to achieve the agreed results.
- This position requires coordination with the client, stakeholders and team members on Wave projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree/ masters from a college or University with minimum of 2 to 5 years (Procurement Analyst) and above of management role in procurement or relative functions with proven results history.
- Excellent experience and skills in managing business operations. In-depth understanding of procurement processes (P2P cycle, RFx, sourcing, negotiation, etc.).
- Having prior Coupa system experience will be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and writing skills).
- Experienced in working in a multicultural environment and virtual team. Demonstrated team working ability and ability to leverage resources within the organization. Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced and confident negotiator and communicator at all organizational levels and with suppliers.
- Excellent decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to plan, organize, implement and monitor programs/projects and schedules with strong program management skills.
Skill Set: Procurement Planning, RFP(Request for Proposal), Bidding Process, International Process, Client Facing Role, Excellent Communication Skills.
Notice Period: Immediate – 15 days
Shift Timings: 7:30pm to 4:30am(fixed shift).(One way Cab Facility will be provided by company for Female Employees.
