Job Description:

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Possess good knowledge of working with automation tools such as Selenium with C#.
  • Setup, configure, and maintain automated testing environments with focus on enablement of continuous testing.
  • Creating testing plans, documentation, process, and testing execution
  • Demonstrate knowledge in using various testing methodologies Agile and Scrum and logging results
  • Familiarize themselves with the business functionality and technology used for assigned applications (under test).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and performance tests to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using issue tracking tools, and work with developers to resolve issues and retest fixes.
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover defects and usability issues in the application.
  • Analyze and report test results, including defect reports and test coverage metrics.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and clarity of requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to review code changes and ensure code quality.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Assist in the deployment and production validation of software releases.

Requirements:

  • Should have Engineering/Masters/bachelor’s degree in computer science with 1-3 years of Experience.
  • Proven experience as an IT Tester, Software Tester, or Quality Assurance Analyst.
  • Should have good automation knowledge in one or more tools (Selenium).
  • Experience in defining, designing, creating, and executing tests in cross browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge in Test Automation Infrastructure setup.
  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and scripting in C#
  • Experience with test management tools for test case management and defect tracking.
  • Understanding of secure software development life cycle (SSDLC) and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate defects effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with development teams and stakeholders.
