JL4B
- Ensure adherence to U.S. mortgage regulations and underwriting guidelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex underwriting issues and provide expert guidance
- Develop and implement process optimization initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
- Provide training and support to team members on underwriting best practices
- Prepare detailed reports on process performance, compliance, and improvement initiatives
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for underwriting process, offering insights and recommendations
- 4-5 years of experience in U.S. mortgage underwriting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. mortgage regulations, guidelines, and underwriting processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities

- Manager should have a minimum of (“Us Residential Mortgage”) 10 years of Experience of managing team size of 100+ associates.
- Should be handling a team of 100+ FTES.
- Mode of salary credit should be through bank from all the employers (No cash in hand)
- Candidate should hold strong domain knowledge – US Residential mortgage – Origination, preclosing, post-closing, processing, underwriting etc. with good communication skills.
- Should have a background of managing large teams, approx. 80-100 FTE’s.
- Should have worked on all types of income skillset; wage, pension, SSA, disability benefit, self and rental
- Should have worked on all product types of loans (FHA, VA, USDA and conventional)
- Operational knowledge of wholesale/Retail and Correspondent residential lending guidelines
- NMLS Certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of US Mortgage Origination Guidelines, LOS systems, Automated
- Underwriting Systems (AUS), and custom underwriting software systems
- Should be familiar with FNMA and FHLMC guidelines
- 10-12 years of experience in U.S. mortgage underwriting.
