Job Description:
As an IT Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for various IT positions within the organization. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job requirements and desired qualifications for IT roles.
- Develop and post job descriptions on various job boards and social media platforms.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ technical skills and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct background checks and reference checks as necessary.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future positions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and talent market conditions.
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
- Participate in career fairs, networking events, and campus recruitment drives as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT recruitment or technical recruiting.
- Proven ability to find and attract IT talent across various roles (software developers, data analysts, system administrators, etc.).
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience with campus recruitment and internship hiring.
- Knowledge of various sourcing techniques including Boolean search and social media recruiting.
- Certifications in Human Resources or Recruitment .
