You will design, configure, and enhance SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting capabilities while using AI assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, test creation, and troubleshooting. The role emphasizes integration, quality delivery, and AI enabled productivity, without requiring deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Technical Delivery
Configure and enhance core SAP FI components including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing.
Translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations using AI copilots to accelerate analysis and documentation.
Support end to end delivery across requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems through standard integration patterns/APIs.
AI Assisted Productivity
Use AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configuration, generating test scripts, impact analysis, and documentation.
Apply pre built AI services (e.g., anomaly detection, forecasting, intelligent validations) to enhance finance processes.
Use AI tools for financial data interpretation, error diagnosis, and faster resolution.
Quality, Governance & Collaboration
Ensure compliance with SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards.
Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions using AI enhanced insights.
Collaborate with finance users, functional teams, technical teams, and cross module stakeholders to ensure aligned, high quality solutions.
Contribute to reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and AI assisted development best practices.

SAP Finance Expertise
Strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes including:
o Universal Journal
o Financial Closing & Reporting
o AP/AR Processing
o Asset Accounting (AA)
o Banking & Cash Management
o Taxation and compliance
Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD.
AI Ready Skills
Hands on experience using AI copilots, LLM based assistants, automated documentation, and AI driven testing tools.
Understanding of AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and practical application of pre built AI services (not model training, RAG, or agentic development).
Ability to use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution.
General Skills
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities in finance processes and data.
Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.
Ability to translate business requirements into well structured SAP finance solutions.
