Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Design and Implementation: Architect, design, and deploy Cisco ACI solutions to meet the network infrastructure needs of the organization or clients.
  • Configuration Management: Configure ACI fabric, including APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller) configuration, tenant creation, application network profiles (ANP), endpoint groups (EPG), and contracts.
  • Network Integration: Integrate ACI with existing network infrastructure, including Layer 2/3 devices, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and other network services.
  • Policy Enforcement: Develop and enforce network policies using ACI’s policy-driven approach, ensuring security, compliance, and performance.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor the health and performance of the ACI environment and troubleshoot issues using tools like APIC, SNMP, Syslog, and third-party monitoring solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco ACI.
  • Certification: Cisco CCNP Data Center, CCIE Data Center, or equivalent certifications in Cisco ACI.
  • Deep understanding of Cisco ACI architecture and components (APIC, Leaf, Spine).
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MP-BGP).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
