Job Description:
As a Student Support Advisor, you will be responsible for engaging with prospective students, providing accurate program information, and guiding them through the enrollment process. You will connect with leads via telecalling, counsel them on available academic programs, and support them in completing onboarding formalities, while strictly adhering to defined training, scripts, and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to prospective students from the provided lead database.
- Counsel students by explaining program details, benefits, and career opportunities.
- Drive lead conversion and achieve individual performance targets/KPIs.
- Follow authorized scripts, SOPs, and compliance guidelines at all times.
- Assist interested leads with online payment guidance and enrollment completion.
- Accurately update CRM/dialer entries and maintain daily activity records.
- Escalate complex queries or issues to supervisors for resolution.
- Ensure a professional and positive student experience in all interactions.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate/Undergraduate with 1 to 3 years of telesales, upselling, or student counseling experience (preferred in EdTech or service-based industries).
- Strong communication and persuasion skills in English and regional languages.
- Ability to manage objections and build rapport with prospective students.
- Comfortable working with performance-based targets.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, CRM, Dialer systems).
- Willingness to undergo mandatory training and adhere to certification standards.
