Job Description:

  1. Quality Assurance Leadership:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA strategies and processes to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Lead the QA efforts across various projects, ensuring consistent application of QA methodologies.

2. Test Automation:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and the Robot Framework.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for test automation within different software projects.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to streamline the release process.

3. Team Management:

  • Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of 4-5 junior Quality Analysts.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

4. Manual Testing:

  • Oversee and participate in manual testing activities, ensuring comprehensive coverage of application features and functionalities.
  • Validate that software meets business requirements and user expectations through thorough testing.

5. Defect Management:

  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Generate detailed test reports, quality metrics, and test coverage analysis.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of QA processes, test plans, test cases, and test results.

7. Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary QA point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with developers, product managers, and clients to understand requirements and provide QA insights and updates.

8. Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing.
  • Proactively implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA processes and methodologies.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead QA role.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with the Robot Framework.
  • Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including automated and manual testing.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of junior QA analysts.
  • Ability to lead by example and inspire team members to achieve high standards of quality.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex software issues.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate QA processes, issues, and recommendations to various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing test automation frameworks.

Desirable Requirements:

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
