The Trade Settlement person is responsible for timely and accurate processing and authorization of trade settlement instructions for various financial instruments including DTC/FED, EUROCLEAR, and cross-border trades. The role also involves the settlement of new issues, netting, pair offs, and trade partials, with a focus on fixed income trades. This position requires expertise in the trade life cycle, trade processing, and familiarity with systems like SWIFT and Bloomberg.
Job Responsibilities : (Must have)
- Timely process and authorize trade settlement instructions (DTC/FED, EUROCLEAR, cross-border trades)
- Effectively process the settlement of fixed income trades
- Handle new issues settlement, netting, pair offs, and trade partials
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of trade settlements
- Use SWIFT and Bloomberg for trade processing
- Understand and monitor the complete trade life cycle
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless trade execution
- Resolve trade settlement issues and discrepancies promptly
- Maintain comprehensive records of all trade transactions
- Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements in trade settlements
- Provide insights for process improvements
- Keep abreast of market developments and industry best practices
Criteria: (Must have)
- 1-5 years of experience in trade settlement
- Strong knowledge of equity and fixed income trade processing
- Proficiency in using SWIFT and Bloomberg
- Understanding of the trade life cycle
- Experience with cross-border trade settlements
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in trade settlement
