Overview:
- Experience in electrical design for Medium Voltage/MV Switchgear.
- Experience with Siemens Switchgear would be a bonus.
- Ability to analyze technical specifications and apply appropriate product solutions to meet customer expectations efficiently and timely.
- Prepare technical RFQ packages (SLD, General Arrangement, standard schematics, EBOM).
- Expert level proficiency of protection relays, P&C schemes, control schematics, and communication network architectures.
- Familiarity with IEEE, ANSI, UL, and NEMA standards for MV Switchgear.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Mechanical Design Engineer With Medium Voltage
- 5+ years of experience in working with
- complex ‘made to order’ manufacturing environment”
- 5+ years of experience in design/development of ANSI LV/MV products Ability to analyze customer’s technical specifications for LV/MV Switchgear/MCC Products and work closely with Engineering Project team to ensure delivery of complete and optimal product
- Ability to design models of parts and assemblies from concept to completed 3D (NX Preferred) model.
- Ability to take overall mechanical ownership of the project and create Mech. BOM, develop new assemblies, validate functionality and release parts/assemblies to production
