Key Responsibilities:
- Content Review & Moderation:
Accurately review and moderate user-generated content, including text, and images for adherence to community guidelines and safety standards. - Policy Application:
Apply moderation policies effectively, ensuring decisions align with established standards and adjusting for nuances within cultural or regional contexts where applicable.
Stay updated on policy changes, adapting quickly to new guidelines and escalation protocols. - Quality and Compliance:
Meet or exceed quality targets for accuracy and consistency in moderation decisions, following defined KPIs.
Adhere to all data privacy and security protocols in handling user data and maintaining confidentiality. - Reporting & Escalation:
Escalate complex or highly sensitive cases to internal teams as required, following defined escalation procedures.
Our most successful candidates will have:
- Proven experience as a content moderator, technical writer or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Both freshers and experienced can apply for this role.
- Graduate in any stream or related field
- Degree in English literature and journalism would be an added advantage
