Job Description (Bangalore):

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, implementing data integration frameworks, and ensuring high data quality and availability across cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT workflows and automate data integration from multiple sources.
• Optimize and manage data storage solutions such as Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure SQL Database.
• Implement and maintain data models, data warehousing solutions, and analytical data structures.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to support analytics and reporting teams.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across Azure environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Create and optimize data models for efficient reporting and analytics.
• Write complex DAX expressions for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.
• Design and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Work with SQL databases to query, clean, and prepare data for reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data sources.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Power BI (desktop and service).
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M language).
• Hands-on experience with SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Expertise in data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema, relationships).
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data integration techniques.
