Job Description:

The SDET role is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test strategies to ensure the quality and functionality of software products. The position requires handson experience in API testing, Linux environments, UI testing, automation, BDD, and Agile methodologies, along with strong collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review requirements and specifications; define test conditions
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases
  • Work closely with development teams to deliver highquality features on time
  • Perform Linuxbased testing and UI testing to ensure seamless user experience
  • Use Linux and network commands during testing (added advantage)
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
  • Conduct API testing for backend and integration validation
  • Identify, log, track, and verify defects
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams throughout the SDLC
  • Prepare test reports, metrics, and quality status updates
  • Perform risk analysis and effort estimation
  • Continuously improve QA processes and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality guidelines

Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing life cycle
  • Experience in API, UI, and Linux-based testing
  • Handson experience with test automation frameworks
  • Understanding of BDD and Agile/Scrum practices
  • Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
