Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development of Automation Frameworks and Scripts:
  • Creating, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable automation test frameworks using Java, leveraging tools like Maven or Gradle for build automation.
  • Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Implementing and maintaining automation frameworks like Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, or Hybrid frameworks.
  • Developing and executing automated test scripts for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured with Java, ensuring data integrity and functionality.
  • Embracing BDD practices and implementing scenarios using Cucumber or similar frameworks.

Test Execution and Analysis:

  • Executing automated test suites and analyzing results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Performing various types of testing, including smoke, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting issues related to automation script execution and application behavior.
  • Generating detailed test reports using tools like TestNG, JUnit, Allure, or Extent Reports.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automation testing, particularly for APIs.
