Job Description:

Typical Responsibilities

  • Development & Customization: Designing, developing, and implementing custom features, modules, and extensions for SAP Commerce (Hybris) applications.
  • System Integration: Configuring and integrating the Hybris platform with backend SAP systems (like ERP and S/4HANA) and other third-party systems using APIs and other methods.
  • Data Management: Utilizing Impex for data import/export, developing and managing Cron Jobs for automated tasks, and ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • System Support & Maintenance: Troubleshooting production issues, maintaining and optimizing the performance of SAP Commerce Cloud systems, and providing technical and functional support.
  • Technical Leadership: Mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and providing expert guidance on best practices for Hybris implementation.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, product owners, business analysts, and QA teams, in daily stand-ups and sprint planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP Commerce (Hybris) foundational concepts, architecture, and development best practices.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java, the Spring Framework (Spring Core, MVC, Security, Integration), and related technologies.
  • Integration Skills: Experience implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with various systems, including SAP ERP, CRM, PIM, and payment gateways.
  • Database Experience: Familiarity with databases such as SQL and SAP HANA.
  • Tools & Methodologies: Experience with Git, SVN, JUnit, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools like Apache Tomcat, Apache Web Server, SOLR, Docker, and Kibana.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with clients and internal teams.
