Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Integration and ETL:
Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across various systems.
Optimize SSIS workflows for performance, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
1. Database Development:
Write omplex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support various business needs.
Maintain and update database schema, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and scalability.
1. Reporting and Analytics:
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Collaborate with data analysts to identify key metrics, data sources, and reporting requirements.
1. Database Administration Support:
Assist with DBA tasks, including performance tuning, indexing, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.
Monitor database health, ensuring data availability and integrity, while addressing any potential security risks.
1. Documentation and Best Practices:
Maintain documentation for database structures, ETL workflows, and reporting solutions
Follow best practices for database development, security, and data governance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SQL Server, SSIS, and SQL querying.
- Familiarity with DBA responsibilities, including backup/recovery and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
- Experience in reporting tools like Power BI, SSRS, or similar (preferred).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of database management and warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to other ETL tools and data integration solutions.
- Experience in data visualization and business intelligence platforms.
