Job Description:

Role & responsibilities:

• Assist in configuring and managing AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Support CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline Help manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation Monitor system health, availability, and performance using tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless code deployment and rollback Maintain version control systems and branching strategies (Git).
• Write basic shell or Python scripts for automation tasks Document DevOps processes and maintain internal knowledge base

Essential candidate profile:

• Bachelor-s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Preferred: AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Developer Associate (preferred but not mandatory)
• REQUISITE WORK EXPERIENCE Essential: 4 year experience in AWS services.

Special Skills Required:

• Essential: Basic knowledge of AWS core services Understanding of Linux operating systems Familiarity with Git and version control workflows Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions Ability to write basic scripts (Bash, Shell, or Python) Eagerness to learn new tools and best practices in DevOps and cloud.
• Preferred: Exposure to Docker and containerization concepts Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.) Basic knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, security groups, etc.) Hands-on experience in college or internships with AWS or DevOps projects.
