Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Experience using SAP transactions and other tools to monitor health of HANA database.
• Experience with the running of trace and analyze the log files generated for further diagnosis
• Experience managing users and roles in SAP HANA system. Shell scripting skills and familiarity of Linux/Unix/Windows systems.
• Willing to work occasional weekends and be on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Responsibilities: Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems.
• Conducts monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems. Sets up alerts and checks to detect potential problems creeping up, and use knowledge and skills to prevent them from happening.
• HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
• Adding systems to HANA cockpit and configuring SSO for HANA systems.
• Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques – data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory. HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin.
• Provide L2 Basis support on day-to-day issues when needed. Ongoing tuning of HANA systems using EWA, HANA Notes, TPO, TPV, etc.
• Keeps management, other team members and other departmental employees aware of status changes as necessary. Uses good judgment to determine when such communication is necessary. Considers the need for other team members to support their areas of responsibility and openly shares an understanding of these areas.
• Willing to work occasional weekends and be on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Sets up alerts and checks to detect potential problems creeping up, and use knowledge and skills to prevent them from happening.
• HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin.
• Provide L2 Basis support on day-to-day issues when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information Technology or related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a HANA Database Administrator and 3+ years of SAP Basis administration experience.
• Experience using SAP transactions and other tools to monitor health of HANA database.
• Experience with the running of trace and analyze the log files generated for further diagnosis.
• Experience managing users and roles in SAP HANA system.
• Shell scripting skills and familiarity of Linux/Unix/Windows systems.
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill.
