Job Description:
Electrical Design (Job Description):
- Bachelors Deg. In Electrical Engineering/M-Tech Electrical Engineering
- Experience in electrical design for MV Switchgear
- Experience in preparing the technical RFQ packages (SLD, General Arrangement, standard schematics, EBOM)
- Expert level proficiency of protection relays, P&C schemes, control schematics, communication network architectures
- Ability to interpret and develop breaker control schematics, panel arrangement drawings (layout drawings), three-line drawings, wiring diagrams and nameplate schedule
- Ability to analyze technical specifications and apply appropriate product solutions to meet customer expectations efficiently and timely.
- Understanding of electrical protection systems, protection relays.
- Knowledge of MV Switchgear product design.
- Understanding of communication systems from wiring requirements perspective for controls and automation (RS485, RS232, IRIG-B, Star/ring/daisy chain topology etc.)
- Familiar with IEEE-ANSI/NEC/UL/NEMA standards for MV Switchgear.
- Knowledge on Electrical CAD tools: Electrical ACAD, E-BASE, MS VISIO, NXTools+ would be an advantage.
Mechanical Design (Job Description):
- Experience in design/development of ANSI LV and MV Products.
- Hands on experience in 3D Modelling on the job.
- Ability to design models of parts and assemblies from concept to completed 3D (NX Preferred) model and AutoCAD software.
- Experience working with sheet metal parts, bus bars, insulation parts, etc.
- Experience in working with complex made to order manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze customers technical specifications for LV/MV Switchgear/MCC Products and work closely with Engineering Project team to ensure delivery of complete and optimal product.
- Ability to take overall mechanical ownership of the project and create Mech. BOM, develop new assemblies, validate functionality, and release parts/assemblies to production.
- Familiar with ANSI/IEEE standards for MV/LV Switchgears/MCCs (IEEE C37.20.2, IEEE C37.20.3, IEEE- C37.20.7, UL 845).
- Knowledge on Electrical CAD tools: ACAD, NX (3D CAD), Teamcenter would be an advantage.
