- 3 -10 years of C/C++ programming experience developing embedded Linux & Android systems
- Kernel and device driver development, Porting and BSP development for Android/Linux
- Linux OS internals, Linux device driver concepts, Linux Kernel debugging
- Proficiency in real time multi-threaded software design and development, system programming using IPC, synchronization primitives
- Cross-compiling and porting (eg: make, buildroot)
- Should know about various tools used for debugging gdb, kgdb, Trace-32/Lauterbach
