Job Description:
We are looking for a highly energetic Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive new customer acquisition in large residential societies for our 20L packaged drinking water business. The role focuses on society activation, canopy campaigns, dispenser placement, and increasing direct household penetration.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying new residential communities, conducting promotional activities, and converting them into active customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Society Identification & Prospecting:
- Identify and approach large residential societies within the assigned territory.
- Meet society chairpersons, secretaries, and management committees.
- Present the brand proposition and obtain entry approvals.
- Map the number of flats and estimate consumption potential.
2. Society Activation & Conversion:
- Convert targeted societies into active accounts.
- Conduct sampling activities, awareness campaigns, and canopy setups.
- Promote the 20L jar subscription model within societies.
- Ensure strong initial activation and early customer traction.
3. Canopy Placement:
- Place branded canopies during society activation campaigns.
- Increase brand visibility and generate direct consumer sign-ups.
- Ensure proper tracking of activation assets.
4. Direct-to-Customer Expansion:
- Increase household penetration in activated societies.
- Generate and nurture leads through society campaigns.
- Drive repeat orders and volume growth within the first 3060 days.
5. Coordination & Handover:
- Coordinate with the distribution team for first order fulfilment.
- Ensure onboarding turnaround time (TAT) compliance.
- Hand over stabilized accounts to the servicing team.
- Maintain relationships until consistent monthly billing is achieved.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Any Degree.
- Experience: 0-2 years in Sales / Marketing / Field Sales.
- Freshers with strong interest in sales are welcome.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Field sales and customer acquisition ability.
