Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with hands-on experience in ODATA services, IDoc processing, Core Data Services (CDS) Views, and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP). The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SAP solutions aligned with business objectives and S/4HANA best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom ABAP programs and enhancements using best practices in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
• Design and build ODATA services to enable Fiori applications and integrate SAP with external systems.
• Configure and develop inbound and outbound IDoc interfaces for seamless data exchange with other systems.
• Create and optimize CDS Views for consumption in Fiori/UI5 applications and reporting.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and end-users to gather and understand requirements.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of custom developments.
• Maintain high-quality documentation for all development efforts.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and support activities during go-live and hypercare.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4–7 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.

Strong expertise in:

• ODATA services (SAP Gateway / SEGW)
• IDoc configuration and development
• CDS Views in S/4HANA environment
• Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)
• Good understanding of SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, or PP is a plus.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, SAP Fiori/UI5 integration, and Eclipse-based ABAP development (ADT).
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certification in ABAP or related modules.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of BOPF, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming), and AMDP is an advantage.
