Job Description:

Roles and responsibilities

• Review and analyze mortgage documentations including paystubs, W-2s, all tax returns, and bank statements etc
• Validate information on documents, as per the procedures
• Perform association of documents
• Perform reconciliation of information between system of records and various mortgage documents
• Undertake corrective actions including updating system of records, address Risk Messages, run decision results, creating reminder tasks, update the requirement of the documents by adding notes etc.
• Identify discrepancies or red flags in documentation and escalate as necessary.
• Collaborate with underwriters and processors to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of income analysis and documentation used.
• Stay updated on changes in investor guidelines
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving processes.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and adhering to set quality and productivity targets .

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in mortgage origination process
• 6-18 months of experience in mortgage process, graduates, preferably, commerce/business graduates.
• Ability to follow complex task process and complete notation and documentation
  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage loan origination systems.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work U.S. business hours.
