Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Composite Technician to support the fabrication, assembly, and repair of composite parts and structures. This role involves working with materials such as carbon fibre, fiberglass, and Kevlar to build components primarily for the aerospace and defence industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, work orders, and technical instructions.
• Record production data and report discrepancies. RC and RIS
• Prepare moulds and tools for lay-up and composite fabrication.
• Perform hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, resin infusion, or pre-preg layups.
• Trim, drill, sand, and assemble composite parts to specification.
• Mix and apply resin systems and adhesives.
• Inspect materials and finished parts for quality assurance.
• Maintain cleanliness (5S) and organization of work area and tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

• ITI or Diploma; technical training or certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in composite fabrication or related field.
• Familiarity with composite materials, techniques, and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret Drawings and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.

Other requisites:

• Composite Manufacturing or equivalent certification or training in cable and Airframe manufacturing
• Experience with aircraft or defence platform Composite and Mechanical integration.

Soft Skills:

• Strong team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams.
• Adaptability and willingness to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Additional Information:

• Working hours may include overtime, Weekends and Holidays or shift work depending on project needs.
• May involve occasional travel to customer trails, Demo and test ON-sites.
