Job Description:

  • Power Electronics Engineer experienced in Simulation and Control of Converters for energy applications.
  • Converter control with Grid Code Compliance testing/Grid Forming Converter
  • Experience with simulation tools MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS and Hardware -hands-on
  • Knowledge and understanding of Active and Reactive Power control of three phase converters, dq0 transformations, sequence control, Virtual Synchronous Machine control, etc.
  • Solid knowledge in Grid side control and control structure, technical documentation, and technical reviews.
  • Experience with generator-side converter control, torque control, and machine-drive systems.

Machine Side Converter:

  • Power Electronics Engineer experienced in Simulation and Control of Converters for energy applications.

Machine Side Converter Control:

  • Experience with simulation tools MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS and Hardware -hands-on
  • Knowledge and understanding of Active and Reactive Power control of three phase converters, dq0 transformations, sequence control, Virtual Synchronous Machine control, etc.
  • Solid knowledge in Turbine control and control structure, technical documentation, and technical reviews.
  • Experience with generator-side converter control, torque control, and machine-drive systems.

Power Electronics Consultant -Thermal:

  • Power Electronics Engineer experienced in Simulation and Control of Converters for renewable energy applications.
  • Develop, build, and analyze electrical, mechanical, and thermal models (using MATLAB, PLECS) for high power (>500 kW) converter components such as reactors, AC capacitors, breakers, etc
  • Experience with simulation tools MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS
  • Knowledge and understanding of power electronic converters thermal design and thermal studies. Good Semi conductor device domain knowledge and their mechanical ,Thermal design.
  • Lead design optimization activities focusing on electrical and thermal performance improvements in the power electronic converters.

Power Electronics Consultant QA & Six Sigma:

  • Power Electronics Engineer experienced in Simulation and Control of Converters for renewable energy applications.
  • Electrical engineer with expertise in High Voltage Engineering with professional experience (>7yrs) leading design quality improvements.
  • Experience in Technical documentation and communication.
  • Experience with DMAIC methodologies, data analysis, root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Implementation of effective corrective actions in design processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt

Power System Engineer / Power Grid Consultant:

  • Power System Engineer experienced in Load Flow, Short Circuit, Dynamic (RMS) Studies for wind/renewable grid integration.
  • Knowledge of LVRT/HVRT, activereactive power control, dq0/sequence concepts, plant controller behavior, and grid code compliance.
  • Experience with PSSE / PSCAD/DIgSILENT PowerFactory / ETAP kind of software tools for studies, and strong skills in technical documentation and study reporting
  • Modeling of Turbine Generator and TG controls for PQ capability studies and modeling of PPC for system studies.
  • Mainly Australian market grid code compliance and regulations
  • 5+ Years of Experience in industry.
